Yes—all of our dining tables are made from real oak, not veneer. Most tables in the Australian market place have a veneer top. We use high-quality American oak, known for its natural grain, durability, and timeless character. Unlike veneer tables, real timber can age gracefully and stand up to everyday use in busy homes.

Is the table easy to clean and maintain?
Yes. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap when needed. Avoid harsh chemicals and use coasters to protect the surface from heat or spills.
What size dining table should I choose?
Choose a size based on your space and how many people you’d like to seat:
- Round tables (120–180cm) are great for smaller or square rooms
- Rectangle tables (1.8m, 2m, 2.4m) suit larger dining zones or open-plan areas
Be sure to allow at least 90cm clearance around the table for comfortable movement.
Why don't we offer white painted table tops?
At Style My Home, we focus on practicality, longevity, and timeless style—which is why we don’t offer dining tables with painted white tops. While painted surfaces can look beautiful initially, they’re prone to chipping, marking, and uneven wear, especially in high-use areas like the dining table. Our customers want furniture that’s not only stylish but also functional and long-lasting—so we’ve chosen to prioritise finishes that can stand up to real life, not just the showroom.
Instead, we exclusively offer natural oak finishes that are sealed for durability and designed to age gracefully. They resist daily wear, are easy to clean, and won’t show every scuff or scratch the way white-painted tops often do. Our tables are crafted to be enjoyed—not tiptoed around.
