All tables are 78cm high, which is the standard dining table height for comfortable seating.

The seating capacity depends on the size you choose. The 180cm and 200cm tables seat 6-8 people comfortably, the 240cm seats 8-10 people, and the larger 260cm and 300cm tables seat 8-12 people. For the 300cm table, you can fit 3-4 people along each long side and 2 people at each end for a total of 10-12 guests.

For formal dining with full place settings, we recommend the lower end of the range; for casual family meals, you can accommodate more.

Parquetry is a decorative woodworking technique that creates geometric patterns using small pieces of timber arranged in a mosaic-like design.

The Kensington table features a stunning natural oak parquetry top that showcases the beautiful grain and colour variations of the timber. This traditional craftsmanship technique adds visual interest, texture and timeless elegance to your dining room.

Absolutely! While the Kensington has a formal, elegant appearance, it's built for everyday family life. The resilient nitro-lacquer seal protects against spills, stains, and scratches from daily use.

The solid oak construction is incredibly durable and will last for generations. The traditional carved legs provide excellent stability, even with active children around. Many of our customers use their Kensington tables daily for family meals, homework, and entertaining - it's designed to be both beautiful and practical.
